Opening Pathways with Technology for Women
An intensive AI & Digital capability program giving women practical experience, mentoring, and clear pathways to step into technology with confidence.
The Challenge
Technology is reshaping every industry, yet women often face barriers in accessing practical experience, visible career pathways, and the confidence to step into tech roles. Without targeted and on-going support, many miss opportunities to build the skills, networks, and mindset needed to thrive in this fast-changing sector.
The Approach
The program was designed as an immersive journey, combining hands-on workshops, mentoring, and exposure to different technology roles. Participants explored the tech ecosystem in layers, mapping it to their own values and aspirations, and discovered how to think laterally about opportunities. Industry speakers shared candid stories about their journeys, creating space for reflection and reminding participants that meaningful impact begins with self-awareness and intention. The experience was rounded out with networking events that connected participants to the broader business and technology community.

Left with a renewed mindset, stronger networks, and clarity about their next steps in tech and a framework to look at creating a job, not just asking for a job.
The Future
The program has shown that confidence grows when skills, networks, and role models come together. We will be working alongside the University of Canberra to integrate this program in to their Professional Practice curriculum and roll out the intensive program at the end of each semester.
